SENEDIA is launching a Tech Talks series to expose, explore and share defense related technologies and applications. Our first event will be a presentation on NUWC Division Newport's Annual Naval Technology Exercise (ANTX). ANTX provides an opportunity to demonstrate future Navy technologies in action today. For the 2017 event, Naval Warfare Centers, universities, and industry partners are invited to showcase their new unmanned systems and related technologies at the Narragansett Bay Test Facility range and at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City. This event is an excellent forum for rapid prototyping, enabling speed-to-fleet development for budding technologies. Tom Fulton, System Assessment Branch Head, NUWC Division Newport, will provide an overview of past ANTX and talk about the upcoming 2017 event including its theme of "Battlespace Preparation in a Contested Environment" and the schedule of activities leading up to the August 2017 Demonstration Week. ANTX 2017 will take place locally at the Narragansett Bay Test Facility (NBTF). The NBTF, its capabilities, and how businesses can use the facilities will also be discussed. Join SENEDIA for this Tech Talks event focused on the accelerating undersea technologies that are in play and being developed and matured in our region.
